Since 2014, LEAD Foundation has provided food, healthcare, counselling, education and care to the poor, the sick, the differently abled and the marginalised, regardless of caste, religion, creed or sex.
LEAD Foundation is a non-profit social development organisation that works to empower people. It was started by a group of people who work independently of any outside control, with a shared goal: to bring lasting, positive change to communities.
We work to improve the quality of life of the poor, the oppressed and the marginalised in both rural and urban areas.
A youth-led forum of volunteer blood donors from across the district. It is now part of LEAD Foundation.
Started on 10 September, World Suicide Prevention Day.
Rev. Fr. Jiby Mathew started the foundation on 15 May. It was registered on 2 July (Reg. No. 161/14).
Laid on 11 February by our differently abled friends.
Everyone deserves access to basic necessities such as food, shelter and healthcare.
We work to improve the lives of underprivileged children through education, food and shelter. We build people's capacity without discrimination, and strengthen communities through leadership, ethical awareness and collaboration, so that children can break out of the cycle of poverty.
We want to see a world where everyone lives with love for humanity and care for the environment, and uses every resource to develop and guide others, especially young people. In that world, people with disabilities are valued as full members of society.
We take a holistic approach. As well as meeting basic needs, we provide education, healthcare and emotional support. We work closely with communities to understand what they need and build solutions that last.
From schools to hospitals to homes, our volunteers and professionals support people at every stage of life.
Our volunteers visit seriously ill people at home, including those who have lost hope or can't reach a hospital. We help relieve physical, emotional and spiritual suffering, help patients live as actively as possible, and support families through illness and bereavement.
We keep a list of volunteer donors from across the district and run donation camps in churches, colleges and schools.
We help pay for medicines, treatment and hospital stays, especially for psychiatric and cancer patients.
Every week, priests, social workers and trust members visit hospitals and offer counselling to patients and their companions.
We serve free meals to patients and their companions in hospitals and at charity homes, especially during festivals.
Our professional counsellors provide individual, marriage, family and group counselling. They help each person understand themselves and get along with the people around them.
Seminars, rallies, street plays and booklet campaigns that promote the value of life.
We raise awareness about alcohol and drug addiction, and help people recover and return to their families and society.
Grief counselling and support groups led by trained volunteers, for children, teenagers and adults.
Help and support for people facing situations they can't overcome on their own.
Schools are central to children's development. Our school social workers connect home, school and community. They provide counselling for children and teenagers, and support families so that every child can reach their full potential.
Help for students who have learning difficulties or live in hard circumstances, plus seminars on why education matters.
We help poor families repair and improve their homes.
With the help of TIES, we promote organic farming for sustainable rural development.
People with disabilities are too often left behind by society. For them, we have started building Susrushaveedu, a three-storey care home and a dream we have held for a long time.
Our differently abled friends laid the foundation stone themselves, and it was a proud and happy day for all of us.

When you feed and care for the least of my people, you care for me.Jesus Christ, from the Gospels
Our faith inspires our volunteers to serve food to patients and their companions in hospitals and at other charity homes. We carry out this work together with youth groups and other organisations.
There is no greater prayer or charity than sharing food, with love, with people who are hungry.
Our team is made up of volunteers and board members who care deeply about making a difference. Everyone at LEAD Foundation is committed to our mission.

We are very happy to have this great lover of humanity as our guide and patron.

He started LEAD Foundation on 15 May 2014, and it has been serving communities in Kerala ever since.
"Once we began to understand the human side of Jesus Christ, we realised that living for oneself is neither beautiful nor fulfilling."
